75 Days

Well, I know it's been a while since the last post but Luke and I have been very busy. He is finishing his last semester of school and track season has started. Between housework, yard work (it is spring almost) and life in general it's been crazy. I just finished putting together the Goofy's Race book from this year and it should arrive in the mail in about a week. Luke bought an elliptical for us and it has been getting a lot of use. He has lost about 5 pounds and I just enjoy using it when it's cold, rainy or dark out and I can watch tv. I'm happy the snow has melted and maybe now the deer will find some where to eat other than our bird feeder. I've caught them twice helping themselves out there. It's kind of creepy that they are that close. To help with my super busy schedule I've been trying to plan out meals for the week. It starts out good at the beginning of the week with baked ziti and then by the end of the week when I know I'll be tired I plan for grilled cheese and soup. So far things are working out well with the menu planning, I just wonder how that will go when I am at 3-4 track meets a week.

I took Cinder Ella out for a walk on her leash today. I combed her fur out so she doesn't shed as much in the house. She tried to eat the hyacinth plants that are starting to sprout. Naughty kitty. At least we have the first signs of spring!

  1. Plan just 3 or 4 meals a week then have leftover for the other days.
